Setting Up Your Lourdes Hydrogen Water Machine
When you set up your unit, there are a few steps to follow:
- Clean off counterspace where you’ll keep your unit
- Open the left tank and fill with distilled water
- Fill until the floater moves to the top of the tank
- Plug the unit into the electrical outlet
- Rinse the container
- Pour drinking water in the right chamber
- Toggle the time
- Allow the unit to run
- Leave the unit until the cycle is complete
There’s a built-in cleaning cycle that you should run every week. Cleaning keeps the unit running smoothly. You’ll want to discard of the water, as it will be undrinkable following your cleaning.
If you need to shut off your machine in the middle of a cycle, lift the pitcher to shut the unit off.
You can keep the unit unplugged when not in use, too. If you look inside of the water machine, you’ll notice an internal filter. The filter needs to be replaced every 9 months to one year.
The distilled water in the tank also needs to be replaced every two months or so. Feel free to replace the distilled water as frequently as you like. There’s also a white sponge-filter – two are included.
You can clean these white sponges as often as you like.
The only time that the sponge requires replacement is if it is damaged.
